Lessen:

De huidige lestarieven vindt u hier op mijn website.
De lessen worden wekelijks aaneengesloten gegeven.

Om de week les hebben is vanaf maart 2024 niet meer mogelijk.

Wanneer iemand zich regelmatig afmeldt vervalt de vaste plek en wordt er gekeken naar
een andere oplossing.


Met kinderen van 6 tot 10 jaar werk ik uit het boekje
‘Cees Hartog - De Kleine Gitaarstarter’. Deze dient uiteindelijk zelf aangeschaft te worden.

Uit ervaring blijkt dat kinderen aandachtiger bij de les blijven als ze zonder ouders
de les volgen. Uiteraard heb ik er alle begrip voor dat u als ouder graag wilt weten hoe de les verloopt. In dat geval raad ik u aan om in het begin, de eerste 2 lessen
erbij te blijven.


Betaling:

Je betaalt het lesgeld na de eerste les van een reeks (10 lessen).
Je ontvangt een factuur en een betaalverzoekje via Whatsapp of Mail.

  • Het tegoed voor de 10 lessen dient gebruikt te worden binnen 13 geldige (les)weken na factuurdatum.

  • Een leerling kan vanwege diens eigen afwezigheid geen aanspraak maken op restitutie van lesgeld.

  • Bij voortijdig stoppen heeft de leerling recht op restitutie van 50% (lesgeld) van de resterende lessen. (Dit geldt alleen voor een reeks van >10 lessen).

  • Ik behoud me het recht voor om tussentijds het lesgeld aan te passen.

  • Leerlingen vanaf 21 jaar zijn btw-plichtig (21%).
     

Annuleren:

Wat het annuleren van lessen betreft: je kunt de les tot 24 uur voordat je les hebt annuleren. Komt de afmelding later of in geval van ‘no show’ dan telt de les als gegeven. Bij ziekte: afmelden tot 10:30 op de dag zelf.


Vakanties:

In de schoolvakanties en op feestdagen worden er geen lessen gegeven.
We gaan uit van de vakanties: Regio Zuid-Nederland.

(Herfstvakantie: 14 okt t/m 22 okt 2023 / Kerstvakantie: 23 dec 2023 t/m 7 jan 2024 / Carnavalsvakantie 10 feb t/m 18 feb 2024 / Meivakantie 27 april t/m 5 mei 2024 / Zomervakantie 6 juli t/m 25 aug 2024. Feestdagen: ma 1 april (Paasmaandag), ma 20 mei (Pinkstermaandag).

Naast het lesgeven ben ik ook actief als optredend muzikant & docent ‘workshops’. Het kan voorkomen dat ik een les / periode moet annuleren ivm een repetitie / optreden / tour / workshops.


KUMA Cashback  (Dit geldt alleen voor regio Maastricht):

Wordt er een subsidie-aanvraag gedaan (waar iedereen recht op heeft) dan wordt er ook een overeenkomst getekend. Hierin wordt het volgende opgenomen:

‘Beide zijn overeengekomen dat de leerling zich verplicht om minimaal 600 minuten lestijd te volgen per schooljaar. Dit ten behoeve van de aanvraag subsidie bij de gemeente Maastricht. Bij voortijdig afbreken van de lessen zal de leraar de huur van het leslokaal voor de rest van het schooljaar aan de leerling in rekening brengen. Tevens zal het subsidiebedrag voor een evenredig deel moeten worden terugbetaald’.


Jeugdfonds:

Wanneer het Jeugdfonds de lessen (deels) bekostigt dient dit vooraf aangevraagd te worden.
Zodra dit goedgekeurd is, is het mogelijk om te beginnen met lessen.

Lessons:

The lessons are given consecutively every week.

Having lessons every other week will no longer be possible from March 2024.

If someone regularly unsubscribes, the permanent spot will be lost and another solution will be looked at.


With children aged 6 to 10, I work from the book 'Cees Hartog - De Kleine Gitaarstarter'. Ultimately, this must be purchased yourself.

Experience shows that children pay more attention to lessons when they attend lessons without their parents. Of course, I fully understand that you as a parent would like to know how the lesson is going. In that case, I advise you to stay with the first 2 lessons in the beginning.


Payment:

You pay the tuition after the first lesson of a series (10 lessons). You will receive an invoice and a payment request via WhatsApp or email.

  • The credit for the 10 lessons must be used within 13 valid (lesson) weeks after the invoice date.

  • A student cannot claim a refund of tuition due to his or her own absence.

  • In the event of premature termination, the student is entitled to a 50% refund (tuition fee) of the remaining lessons. (This only applies to a series of >10 lessons).

  • I reserve the right to adjust the tuition fee at any time.

  • Students aged 21 and over are liable for VAT (21%).


Cancellation:

Regarding canceling lessons, you can cancel the lesson up to 24 hours before your lesson. If the cancellation occurs later or in the event of a 'no show', the lesson will count as given. In case of illness: cancel until 10:30 am on the day itself.


Holidays:

No lessons are given during school holidays and public holidays. We assume the holidays: Region South Netherlands.

(Autumn holidays: October 14 to October 22, 2023 / Christmas holidays: December 23, 2023 to January 7, 2024 / Carnival holidays February 10 to February 18, 2024 / May holidays April 27 to May 5, 2024 / Summer holidays July 6 to August 25, 2024. Public holidays: Mon April 1 (Easter Monday), Mon May 20 (Whit Monday).

In addition to teaching, I am also active as a performing musician & teacher of 'workshops'. It may happen that I have to cancel a lesson / period due to a rehearsal / performance / tour / workshops.


KUMA Cashback (This only applies to the Maastricht region):

If a subsidy application is made (which everyone is entitled to), an agreement will also be signed. . This includes the following:

'Both have agreed that the student undertakes to attend at least 600 minutes of teaching time per school year. This is for the purpose of applying for a subsidy from the municipality of Maastricht. If lessons are canceled prematurely, the teacher will charge the student the rent of the classroom for the remainder of the school year. The subsidy amount will also have to be repaid in proportion’.


Youth Fund:

If the Youth Fund (partly) funds the lessons, this must be requested in advance.
Once this has been approved, it is possible to start lessons.
